Right now we support Google Slides, PPTX and PDF. Behind the scenes, our primitive is a PDF since they are as reliable as we can get. We convert google slides and PPTX into PDF. And then we generate images that is used to display the thumbnail. We can also use the images as the render. For Google slides, we use its embed to mimic the functionality that exists there. For PPTX, we currently only transform it into PDF and follow our basic image workflow.
